I've always loved listening to and playing music (classical mainly), perhaps due to my early exposure to piano playing. As I also enjoy engineering, I naturally have an interest in audio and audio engineering. While my current location has somewhat reduced the viability of building new equipment--my lab is several hundred kilometres away -- I must admit that I don't have much incentive to change my current system. I am quite content with the sound quality that it is producing, and also realise further improvements will probably quite costly.
Nevertheless, I would like to finish building the phono-stage I designed and half built last year but this doesn't look likely for the near future.
Due to limited space in my Melbourne apartment, I was forced to make a few equipment changes from my main system in Canberra. Most notably is the elimination of my Class-A monoblock amplifiers -- a little Tends TA-10 has replaced them.
